Marchio bossa is a jass bossa band founded in 2001 by pippo and piero lombardo.
| The band loves to play with sounds, mixing the bossa nova’s greatest waves (Jobim, Well, Mendes etc.) with strong and highly technical jazzistic sounds with clear references to many world known jazz and funk talents ( Jarreau, EWF, Pat Metheny etc.). All works by both authors are arranged by Pippo with Piero as lyricist, (texts primarily in Italian) they are concretized in hundreds of unpublished pieces and various covers. A selection of these pieces have been recorded and sent to many record labels. Producer Marco Rossi of Azzurra Music in Verona has strong belief in the project, from there on Marchio Bossa have realized four albums that boast good success by both critics and sales (also on line and in every corner of the globe). In the meantime they have matured an elegant and refined “live” act whose talent is parallel to that of many prominent Italian musicians.
